Pairi Daiza

Pairi Daiza is a privately owned zoo and botanical garden located in Brugelette, Hainaut, Belgium. The 65-hectare (160-acre) large animal theme park is located on the site of the former Cistercian Cambron Abbey, and is home to over 7,000 animals. The name is taken from the Avestan word pairi daēza, which is the source of the Persian word paradise.
Pairi Daiza is owned and operated by Pairi Daiza Belgium SA, a limited company previously listed on NYSE Alternext Brussels (code: PARD). It is a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), and participates in the European Endangered Species Programme (EEP).
Nahe Brüssel und nicht weit entfernt von der französischen Grenze empfängt euch in Brugelette zwischen Mons und Ath im Hennegau der Tierpark Pairi Daiza.
Im Tierpark Pairi Daiza bereist ihr die Welt und entdeckt Tiere in einer fast natürlichen Umgebung. Begegnet Pandas, Elefanten oder Orang-Utans. Vom "Guide vert Michelin" mit 3 Sternen ausgezeichnet und 2018 und 2019 zum "Besten Zoo Europas" gekürt entführt euch der "Garten der Welten" auf eine Reise durch die fünf Kontinente mit rund 7.000 Tieren.
Pairi Daiza est un parc zoologique belge wallon situé dans la province de Hainaut, à Brugelette. Fondé en 1994, il s'est d'abord appelé Paradisio de son ouverture jusqu'en 2010. Il est la propriété d'Eric Domb, fondateur du parc, et de Marc Coucke.
Il présente plus de 7 000 animaux de 800 espèces sur 75 hectares. Le zoo est divisé en zones thématiques, les « Mondes ». Il est l'un des neufs parcs européens qui présentent des pandas géants.
Membre permanent de l'Association européenne des zoos et aquariums, il s'engage dans la conservation ex situ en participant à des programmes européens pour les espèces menacées (EEP), dont il en coordonne un.
Il est le parc de loisirs le plus fréquenté de Belgique, accueillant plus de 2,2 millions de visiteurs par an depuis 2019.
