Phantasialand

Phantasialand is a theme park in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany that attracts approximately 2 million visitors annually. It was opened in 1967 by Gottlieb Löffelhardt and Richard Schmidt. Although starting as a family-oriented park, it has added thrill rides, especially in recent years. Following the example of Europa-Park, it has also decided to attract business customers, calling spring the slogan "Business to Pleasure".
Phantasialand is known for its high theming detail. It introduces new attractions more often compared to other German theme parks, to compensate for its small area; and is regularly voted one of the world's best theme parks.
Among its thrill rides is Taron, the world's second fastest multi-launch coaster; Black Mamba, a Bolliger & Mabillard inverted coaster; and a themed Mine Train roller coaster called Colorado Adventure, which runs between some of the mountains in the park's Wild West section, and was opened by Michael Jackson. The most recent addition was F.L.Y., a Vekoma launched flying coaster.

Das Phantasialand ist ein Freizeitpark in Brühl bei Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen. Mit über zwei Millionen Besuchern im Jahr 2022 ist er der am zweithäufigsten besuchte Freizeitpark Deutschlands und einer der 15 besucherstärksten saisonalen Freizeitparks in Europa. In sechs Themenbereichen und zwei Themenwelten bietet das Phantasialand zahlreiche Fahrgeschäfte und Shows.
Mit einer Betriebsfläche von ungefähr 28 Hektar, von denen der eigentliche Park (ohne Parkplätze und Hotels) etwa 12 Hektar belegt, gehört das Phantasialand flächenmäßig zu den kleineren Themenparks. Eine verdichtete Bauweise mit teilweise ineinander verflochtenen Attraktionen sowie ein vergleichsweise häufiger Abriss alter Attraktionen zugunsten neuer sind charakteristisch für den Park. Dem Phantasialand angegliedert sind drei Themenhotels sowie Veranstaltungs- und Konferenzräume.
Die Parksaison beginnt üblicherweise um den 1. April. Seit 2021 wird auf die Schließung Ende Oktober verzichtet und im laufenden Betrieb für das mehrwöchige Winterprogramm (Wintertraum) umgebaut, das bis Ende Januar stattfindet. Die folgenden zwei Monate bleibt der Park geschlossen.

Wir waren am 13.08.2023 zu Besuch in diesem Park und allgemein bleibt ein ziemlich positiver Eindruck.
Wir sind keine enormen Achterbahn Fahrer und deshalb freuen wir uns über jegliche andere Attraktion und die sind auch hier geboten.
Egal ob die Geister Rikscha, der Feng Ju Palace oder Wasserbahnen wie der River Quest oder Chiapas – alles war einfach top.
Auch der 4D Kino mit dem Piratenfilm war für groß und klein lustig und wir haben viel gelacht

Dann muss ich aber ein negativen Punkt erwähnen und zwar bei dem essen in China Town. Ich wunderte mich schon das bei dem Ramen Stand keine Schlange war und wir haben trotzdem mal da bestellt… Rund 15€ kostete ein mickriger Becher mit Glutamat Wasser und nicht sehr guten 2 Stückchen Fleisch. Das einzig Brauchbare an dem ganzen war das Gemüse aber sonst… Über 50% davon landete im Müll und wir haben dann noch mitgebracht Brötchen gegessen.
Was mich aber vor allem ärgerte ist dass als wir dann so durch den Park schlenderten die Preise allgemein um 7/8€ lagen bei den Imbissständen und nur um 15€ in Restaurants. Damit haben wir gelernt das nicht wieder zu versuchen…

Am Ende des Tages bleibt ein zu 98% top Tag wo wir uns zu 4 sehr gut amüsiert haben und die 224€ Eintritt waren es allemal wert.
Noch ein kleiner Punkt am Schluss zu Deep in Africa – Adventure Trail – Dies ist eine wunderbare Attraktion für jeden der gerne klettert, kriecht usw. Allerdings große Leute wie ich (1,90m) müssen höllisch aufpassen da man sich sehr sehr schnell irgendwo mit dem Kopf anstößt und das kann den Tag ziemlich versauen.
