Fantasiana

Fantasiana is an amusement park located in Strasswalchen, Salzburg, Austria. It was formerly known as Erlebnispark Strasswalchen from 1996 to 2011.
One of the last major attraction at Fantasiana was inaugurated in 2018 with the “Flyrosaurus” Swing Tower by SBF-Visa (cf. EAP 5/2018). The family theme park, which is located about half an hour’s drive north-east of the city of Salzburg, welcomes far more than 100,000 guests every year.

Some attractions are unique and cannot be found anywhere else of this kind. Der FANTASIANA Erlebnispark Straßwalchen wurde am 4. Mai 1996 von KmzlR Erich Wagner und Karl Heinz Grabler in Straßwalchen gegründet und ist ein rein privates Familienunternehmen. Die beiden Unternehmer kommen aus unterschiedlichen Berufssparten. Erich Wagner kommt aus der Lebensmittelindustrie. Er war in der industriellen Produktion von Marmelade/Konfitüre, Ketchup, Popcorn und Müsliriegel sehr erfolgreich tätig. Karl Heinz Grabler machte sich im Bereich Werbebranche/Dekorationen einen Namen. Er wurde mit vielen internationalen und nationalen Preisen ausgezeichnet. Er plante und baute unter anderem Märchenkulissen für Schaufensterauslagen. Dies war der Grundstein für den FANTASIANA Erlebnispark Straßwalchen.
Das Geheimnis des Erfolges der beiden Unternehmer ist zweifelsohne ihr familienfreundliches Engagement und die Fähigkeit Menschen zu erfreuen. Offenbar wurde ein Kindheitstraum der beiden Wirklichkeit, daher der Slogan „WO TRÄUME WAHR WERDEN!" Internationale Auszeichnungen unterstreichen den Erfolg - der FANTASIANA Erlebnispark Straßwalchen wurde mit dem Performance Award sowie dem Golden Pony Award (dem Oskar der Freizeitbranche) und mehreren European Star Awards ausgezeichnet.
Begonnen wurde auf einer Gesamtfläche von rund 50.000 Quadratmeter, mittlerweile erstreckt sich der FANTASIANA Erlebnispark Straßwalchen über eine Fläche von mehr als 88.000 Quadratmeter. Der Park entwickelte sich in den letzten Jahren durch laufende Investitionen zum Themenpark Nr. 1 in Österreich. Damit gehört der Park zu den beliebtesten Tourismusattraktionen und mit mehr als 200 ArbeitnehmerInnen auch zu den bedeutendsten Arbeitgebern in der Region.
