Freizeit-Land Geiselwind

Freizeit-Land Geiselwind is an amusement park near Geiselwind, Germany. Covering 55 hectares, the park offers over 100 attractions, including 6 roller coasters.
The park was founded in 1969 by Ernst Mensinger under the name "Vogel-Pony-Märchenpark" (fairy tale park with birds and ponies). It was opened next to a newly built section of the Federal Motorway A3. In the beginning, the park had a focus on animals. Later, more and more amusement rides were added. For several decades Acapulco divers entertained the visitors.
The new owner after the death of Mensinger in 2017 is Matthias Mölter.
Das Freizeit-Land Geiselwind ist ein Freizeitpark in der Nähe des bayerischen Geiselwind an der A 3 zwischen Nürnberg und Würzburg. Auf dem mit etwa 400.000 m² flächenmäßig größten Freizeitpark Bayerns sind etwa 100 Attraktionen, davon sieben Achterbahnen, fünf Shows und ein Tier-Freigehege zu finden.
Ab der Saison 2020 wurde der Park um 22 Neuheiten und Veränderungen erweitert, darunter eine große Schiffschaukel, ein großer neuer Themenbereich für Familien und Kinder und ein großer neuer Indoor-Spielplatz. Im neuen Themenbereich „Tuki’s verrückte Farm“ finden drei neue Attraktionen und eine über 250 Meter lange Themenfahrt Platz, aber auch ein großer Spielplatz und große Hüpfkissen finden auf dem neuen Areal Platz. Zur Saison 2021 präsentierte das Freizeit-Land einen weiteren neuen Themenbereich mit dem Namen „Forbidden Kingdoms“. In diesem befinden sich zwei neue Fahrattraktionen und ein großer Brunnen.
Freizeit-Land Geiselwind est un parc d'attractions situé à Geiselwind en Bavière, à 3 kilomètres entre Nuremberg et Wurtzbourg. Le parc comporte également un parc animalier et un petit musée de la vie agricole.
Ernst Mensinger ouvre le parc le 29 juin 1969, il est alors composé uniquement du parc animalier qui présente à l'époque quelques espèces d'oiseaux exotiques. Le parc se développe dans les années 1970 et ouvre son premier spectacle sous une tente de cirque au début des années 1980. Les premières attractions ouvrent également à cette époque. Ernst Mensinger est décoré de l'ordre du Mérite de la République fédérale d'Allemagne le 11 juin 1999 pour l'ensemble de son œuvre.
En décembre 2016, la famille Mensinger a vendu le parc au forain Matthias Mölter, qui en est devenu le nouveau propriétaire le 1er janvier 2017.
